Katina Michael is the inaugural program director of the MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy) at The University of Sydney Business School. She is professor of Strategy, Innovation and Technology. She connects technical, policy, and public audiences, raising awareness of socio-technical challenges and how to address them through human-centred design approaches.
Katina is the founding editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society and has advised governments and industry worldwide on responsible innovation. Her research helps guide professionals through the complex impacts of AI, automation, and digital transformation.

Value-based design allows for the incorporation of key values into functional processes that affect everyone in the financial ecosystem; this is what should be at the heart of the service innovation lifecycle in your organisation. This session will be based on the Financial Planners and Advisers Code of Ethics 2019, incorporating the values of Trustworthiness, Competence, Honesty, Fairness, Diligence. In this engaging ethics session on operationalising ethics be a part of this Principles-to-Practice Scenario-Based Training and gain thought leadership in the articulation of ethics never forget the 12 standards using evidence to demonstrate the implementation of four pillars: Ethical Behaviour (me), Client Care (you), Quality Process (our organisation), and Professional Commitment (our profession).
